From my feedback of my music video, I learned that people really understood the message behind the video itself (the narrative) and also people thought that me and my partner used varied shot types and also used the transitions very well as they matched the song very well. Some comments we had from the feedback of our A2 class were that we made sure the pace of the music video matched the song very well as it helped display the narrative very well. We were also told that we used varied locations which is really good as it makes the video more realistic and makes it easier to believe the passing of time. People thought that the use of the record button in one of our scenes was very clever as they thought it added very well with the story.
Me and my partner made sure to ask the people who watched our music video what they thought we could have improved on. There was only a few answers as most people gave us the answer of " no I don't think you need to improve anything, it was really good " but the feedback we got from a few mentioned that we could have used a few more characters to add to the effect of the video and that we could have displayed the good relationship between the mother and son for a longer period of time so that when it came to the mother's death at the end, the emotional impact would be greater.
This is the feedback video me and my partner filmed when we asked some people to answer a few questions after watching our music video:
