QUESTION 1: BabyScissors frames

  • The first and seventh frame represents what the opening is about, it shows a jar full of blood and hair, this shows how the killer is very disturbed. Me and my partner's convention was props. Our audience would like this because in horror movies there is always gore and they like the shock factor.
  • The second frame shows the killer and the victim. This frame showcases the dramatic effect the scene will have on the audience because the victim's drink is spiked  and she suddenly falls unconscious.
  • The third frame shows the victim and the killer walking into the living room, it gives the horror movie audience a sense of danger and excites them, also leaves them guessing what is going to happen
  • The forth frame shows the killer looking through the door hole, excited to see his new victim, the audience would like this scene as it shows a bit of his crazy personality. This also shows the camera work and editing to make it as realistic as possible, we got this convention from the film Attack the block
  • The fifth frame shows the title of the movie and also the killer in the window, waiting for his victim's arrival, this would scare the audience as he has this whole meeting planned.
  •  The eighth and ninth frame shows the two characters, firstly in a a split screen to show the craziness of the killer and the innocence of the victim and then the killer waiting for the victim to collapse in the ninth.
  • The seventh frame was inspired by the movie Saw because of the Gore (blood and hair)
